Interclean Begins Industry Wide ATP Testing

One of the challenges in cleaning is the lack of science when it comes to measuring that our surfaces are hygienically clean, not just visibly clean.

iClean 2020 Keynote Speaker Professor Karen Vickery touched on this during her session conference at the end of May: “Pathogens and multi-resistant organisms can be found in biofilms that are bacteria attached to surfaces .. If the surface isn’t clean, the disinfectant efficacy decreases significantly and sometimes below an effective level.”

We are now commencing studies with a group of industry experts, researching the best methods for cleaning the most important touchpoints in your facilities that produce a hygienically clean surface every time. We’re working across different industry sectors, gathering information on which system works and what the best methods and products are to create consistently and hygienically clean environment.
