Origionally designed for inhouse cleaning managers C.A.M.S. allows you to re program your cleaning, alter frequencies and schedules & produce facility manuals and training programs
The latest release of C.A.M.S runs on a SQL database which means all data can be accessed via Excell and this gives you all your cleaning data any way you want it
Manage the labour, not the mop
Cleaning is approx 95% labour, and this is the main area where most cleaning managers have challenges. Before you can plan your path towards a great cleaning program you will need to work out where you are starting from.
Working out where you are now means being able to clearly identify what your cleaning staff are doing with their time and your budget.
How much of their time is spent getting ready to clean? How much time is spend changing mop buckets? How much time is spent moving dirt and germs from one room to another and how much time is spent removing it from your facility?
Being able to document your procedures and sort your cleaning tasks in decending order of annual labour costs will help you to prioritise the large issues that could be better managed.
